What Happens on the Barcelona Boat Party?
The Ice Bar Check-In
Your Barcelona Boat Party experience starts at the Ice Bar, around 90 minutes before your sailing time. Check in here, collect your boarding passes, grab a welcome shot, and meet the rest of the crowd. It is a great chance to get the energy going before you even step foot on the boat.
Setting Sail on the Mediterranean
From the Ice Bar, we head down to the marina and board our purpose-built, double-decker white catamaran. With a capacity of 140 passengers, the boat is big enough to feel like a proper event but intimate enough that you will be dancing with everyone on board within minutes of setting sail.
Live DJs and Drinks Included
Once we leave the harbour, the party is in full swing. Our resident DJs play non-stop for the full two-hour cruise, mixing summer anthems, R&B, house, and chart hits. Your ticket includes four drink tokens to use at the onboard bar, covering beer, local sangria, cava, vodka seltzers, and soft drinks. Premium spirits and champagne are also available to purchase.
The Swim Stop
As we cruise along the Barcelona coastline, you will get stunning views of the city skyline and the open Mediterranean Sea. We drop anchor mid-cruise for a swim stop, so you can jump in, cool off, and make the most of the water.
Club Entry After the Boat
The night does not end when we dock. Your ticket includes free guestlist entry to some of Barcelona’s top clubs, including Pacha, Opium, and Catwalk. Most groups head straight from the marina to carry the night on, so there is no need to plan anything separately.

On arrival at the Ice Bar, you will need to show your booking confirmation email (on your phone is fine) plus a valid photo ID. We recommend saving the email to your phone before you travel.

Question Where is the meeting place and what time do we arrive?
You need to meet at ICE Bar 1.30h before the boat departure. For example, if your boat party starts at 7.30pm, you need to arrive for 6.00pm.
Question How long does the boat party last?
Once the boat sets sail you will cruise along the stunning coastline of Barcelona for approximately two hours. For 19:30 sail we would aim to return to the Barcelona Pier for 21:30.
Question Is the Barcelona Boat guaranteed to be busy? Is it ideal for stag and hen groups?
The Barcelona Boat Party is one of the most popular events in the city and runs weekly from January through to the end of September. It is perfect for stag and hen groups – the mix of people on board, the swim stop, the DJs, and the club entry after make it a full night out in one ticket. We strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially for groups.
Question How do we book tickets for this event?
Simply book through Ultimate Boat Parties, it couldn’t be easier! Just select the date and group size and once you’ve made your transaction you will be sent your e-tickets. Please have these printed out or saved on your phone as you will need to show these when you arrive at Ice Bar check-in before the setting sail.
Question Is it essential to attend the Ice Bar Pre-Party?
No, but it’s a great opportunity to grab a few cheeky drinks and meet everyone you’ll be partying with onboard! You will also need to sign in and show your tickets at the bar before you can board the party boat! So Don’t panic if you can’t meet at the earlier time, but try and arrive well before the sailing time!
Question Is there a dress code on the boat? What do people usually we wear on the boat?
There is no strict dress code, but smart-casual is the norm. Most girls dress up and lads go for a neat, casual look. Bear in mind it is still warm in the early evening, so light layers work well. Swimwear is fine for the swim stop
Question Are there any free drinks included in the price?
Yes! As soon as you step onboard the Boat you’ll be given a drink coupon for each guest for 4 drinks! Onboard the boat party you can use your tokens on Beer, local Sangria, Cava, Vodka Seltzers and all your Soft drinks too! There’s also premium spirits and mixers or champagne you can purchase this at the bar for an additional cost.
Question Can I pay for my drinks on the boat in cash or by card?
We would strongly recommend you bring cash and card with you for the bar! The card is accepted, but when you are out at sea, the card machine may lose signal. This can make paying for your drinks a slow process.
Question What music does the on board DJ play?
Expect all of the hottest summer times from the moment you step onboard, to the moment you return to land! The world-famous DJs will play for the crowd. Expect a mix of music, including R&B, chart hits, house, and classic sing-along anthems.
Question Is there an evening event when we return to the pier after the Boat Party?
With your ticket, you will get great discounts on Club entries and VIP tables at the top clubs in Barcelona! The night is still young when you get back to land. Make it a night to remember! Join the others from the boat and head to the amazing Fritty nightclub.
Question Is there an age restriction?
Yes, the Barcelona boat party is strictly over 18. Please bring a copy or photo of ID for security.
