General packing tips for Mallorca

  • Pack light – think about what you’ll realistically wear and don’t just throw in every summer item you own.
  • Roll, don’t fold – it’s a space-saver AND it keeps your clothes wrinkle-free.
  • Try packing cubes to keep yourself super organised.
  • Leave a bit of room for souvenirs.
  • Check your airline’s hand luggage rules so you don’t get caught out with an extra bag!

Daytime stuff for the beach and pool

If you plan to spend most of your days chilling on the beach or by the pool, come prepared with the essential lounging list.

  • Swimwear – bring at least two or three sets to rotate while they’re drying.
  • Flip-flops, Crocs, or sliders – waterproof and easy to throw on and off.
  • Beach towel or quick-dry Microfibre towel – for staking your claim on the best sun lounger and drying off after a dip!
  • Sunglasses – don’t get caught squinting all day in that sizzling sun.
  • Suncream (SPF 30+) – protect your skin and avoid being a lobster.
  • Beach bag – spacious and easy to carry all your essentials to the beach or pool.
  • Emotional support water bottle – stay hydrated, especially after a big night.

Casual fits

Pack a few easy breezy daytime outfits that will also double up for a relaxed dinner or a chill night at the bar.

  • Casual shorts and tees – light, easy, and ideal for exploring.
  • Light dresses and playsuits – great for a quick change before heading out.
  • Comfy trainers – if you’re doing more wandering, these will be a lifesaver.
  • Light jacket (e.g. denim) or hoodie – for those chilly evenings and travelling back.

Party and clubbing wear

You’re here to hit the Strip after all – so plan your best partying outfits.

  • Going-out outfits – bold colours, fun prints, clothes you can dance in.
  • Comfy shoes or sandals – high heels and booze don’t mix well, so make sure you have a backup!
  • Small crossbody bag or bum bag – keep your phone, credit cards, and ID safe.
  • Accessories – hats, jewellery, and sunnies to elevate your fits.
  • Fancy dress (optional) – great for stag/hen groups or themed nights.
